Graham Bell Centre for the Deaf (GBCD) is going to observe International Week of Deaf People 2026 from 21st to 26th September 2026 through a series of awareness programmes, rallies, and community activities across its operational areas in Hooghly district.
The week is an opportunity to raise awareness about the rights, abilities, inclusion, education, communication, and equal opportunities of deaf people and to promote a more inclusive society where everyone can participate with dignity and equality.
