The Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) scheme plays a vital role in improving the health, nutrition, and development of children under six years of age, as well as pregnant and lactating mothers. Training of ICDS functionaries and health workers is essential to ensure early identification of Children with Disabilities as they directly work with them. Through structured training programs, Anganwadi workers, supervisors, ASHAs, and ANMs are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to identify CwDs at the earliest age.
