Graham Bell Centre for the Deaf (GBCD) proudly inaugurated its Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Clinic on 13th June 2026, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing commitment to improving the lives of children with disabilities. The newly established clinic is equipped with modern facilities and technology to provide comprehensive assessment, therapeutic intervention, and developmental support for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by the Hon’ble Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA), the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pandua Police Station, distinguished social workers, educators, and other respected members of the community. Their presence and encouraging words reflected strong community support for the initiative and reinforced the importance of collaborative efforts in
promoting inclusive development for children with autism.
For more than three decades, GBCD has been working tirelessly to promote the education, rehabilitation, and empowerment of children and persons with
disabilities. The establishment of the ASD Clinic represents another important
step toward ensuring that children with autism receive scientific, multidisciplinary, and easily accessible services under one roof. The clinic will focus on early identification, individualized intervention, parental guidance, and therapeutic support to help children achieve their maximum potential and improve their quality of life.
