Through the humanitarian initiative of the Honorable SP sir of Hooghly Rural Police, 10 deaf children supported by GBCD in Dhaniakhali Block received hearing aids.

This was not merely a distribution of hearing aids—the initiative to reach the children personally and visit their homes to hand over the hearing aids is truly commendable and inspiring. Through this support, the children will have new opportunities to hear better, learn, communicate, and participate more actively in society. ❤️

Alongside this special initiative, the SP of Hooghly Rural Police also visited the Head Office of Graham Bell Centre for the Deaf (GBCD) at Pandua. He visited GBCD’s clinic and learned about the various services and initiatives being provided for children and persons with disabilities. His appreciation and encouragement of our work is a great source of inspiration for the entire GBCD family.

On behalf of GBCD, we extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the Hon’ble SP and Hooghly Rural Police for this compassionate and collaborative initiative.
